The real crime is that while Dr. Novello used a Medicaid fraud investigator to chauffer her to shopping malls, Medicaid fraud in New York State grew to $15 billion per year.
While Dr. Novello furnished her living room, nosocomial outbreaks and iatrogenic deaths grew to record levels in New York State hospitals.

While Dr. Novello ferried her mother all over the state, thousands of seniors were abused and killed in so-called “Nursing Homes.”
But don’t worry…the office of the Inspector General has issued a detailed report, and the Albany District Attorney is preparing her felony case.
