ALBANY, NY  -  New York State Assemblyman Adam Clayton Powell IV is not known for his intellect or legislative output. 

He has been accused of raping two women. One of them was a 19-year old legislative intern, whom he got drunk in his Albany hotel room. 

He has been arrested for drunk driving. 

His driver’s license has been suspended. 

He is under investigation for converting $30,000 in campaign funds to his own personal use. 

But Powell has reached a new low. 

Last week in Albany, he truly made an ass out of himself.

The Puerto Rican guy was set up by Adam Clayton Powell IV. 

Assemblyman Adam Clayton Powell IV was accused of raping a 19-year old legislative intern, after getting her drunk in his Albany motel room.

Five weeks later, a second woman accused Powell of raping her in Manhattan.

Then recently, Assemblyman Powell was arrested by the NYPD for Driving While Intoxicated on the Henry Hudson Parkway at 2:30 a.m. 

A young woman, Maribel Figueroa, was passed out in Powell’s back seat. 

Ms. Figueroa was in a drunken coma.                            

 Her blood was so toxic that they rushed her to St. Luke’s hospital, for emergency detoxification.

All this night life was beginning to affect Adam Clayton Powell’s career.

So what does Adam Powell do? 

He invites Leo on a “boy’s night out.” 

Then he photo-shops Leo, to make it look like he’s drinking with innocent teenagers.

Then he arranges for Leo to get arrested.

For the past week, Leo is spending his lonely nights in jail.

This is not right, but do not worry. 

The nights will end… 

Leo will get out of jail… 

And his justice will be severe.

Another disgrace has occurred in Albany. 

State Assemblyman Adam Clayton Powell IV has been accused of raping not one, but two women in less than two months. 

One of them was a 19-year legislative intern, whom he stuffed with drinks in his hotel room.

This may tarnish the memory of his father, the famous Congressman Adam “Keep the Faith, Baby” Powell, who broke a few hearts himself.

When confronted by the press, Powell denied the rape charges and told everyone to “please go home.”

There are three little pieces of evidence, however, which Powell must explain.

We wish Adam Clayton Powell IV the greatest of luck, in mounting his legal defense. 

Well…perhaps he shouldn’t mount a defense.  Just have one.

The Puerto Rican guy has just read a breathtaking novel. 

It is called The Suspect is a Young Black Male.

 It is the story of a man who reforms the entire government of New York State, by murdering three politicians.

It was written by someone who should know…a former New York State Assemblyman. 

My favorite scene in the novel is when all the politicos get together, and carve up the state budget like a Thanksgiving turkey.

Then ten minutes later, they all take Viagra and chase their interns around the hotel.

According to the author, everything in this novel is true. 

It all happens constantly in Albany, and he has the evidence to prove it. 

Let’s hope that killing three politicians, is all it takes. 

If not, let’s strangle one more…and demand free health insurance.

Somos el Futuro (Part V)

Somos el Futuro is a twice-a-year political conference. 

Supposedly held to discuss legislation and government policy, it is actually an excuse to drink, snort and chase women. 

There’s always a power table where all the big shots sit.

I sat there a few times. 

My list of dining companions was quite long… 

So long, that I’m devoting this entire week to introduce them to you. 

City Councilman Velez had a girlfriend, two uncles and eight cousins on the payroll.

County Leader Rivera didn’t live in the County. 

He didn’t even live in the State of New York! 

He got his son elected to the City Council, his daughter to the State Assembly, his wife owned Community Board 6… 

And his mistress ran the Bronx Board of Elections.
