Kay Palacios – the REAL First Dominican

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ – Some interesting research has just been completed.

According to the Institute for Latino Studies, the first Dominican elected official in the history of the United States was Councilwoman Kay Palacios of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

She was elected before Guillermo Linares or anyone else…on November 4, 1991.

From left, seated are councilwoman Diane Sank (R), the Mayor, Councilwoman Kay Palacios (D). Standing. Left to right, are Councilmen John Murphy (D), Roger Wasik (R), Angelo Mungioli (R), and Harold Austin (D).Paterson, NJ. (Source: Bergen Record).

Here is the link to the research that proves it:

In 1998, the fact that Kay Palacios was the first Dominican elected official, was already published and widely-circulated:

Kay Palacios was recently honored for her achievement, and made this wonderful speech:

Our congratulations to the Hon. Kay Palacios…the true Dominican pioneer, whom history ignored for nearly 20 years.

She deserves great honor and recognition.

The Suspect is a Young

Black Male

The Puerto Rican guy just read a smashing novel.

It is called The Suspect is a Young Black Male.

It is the story of a man who reforms the entire government of New York State, by murdering three politicians.

One dead politician

It was written by someone who should know…a former New York State Assemblyman.

My favorite scene in the novel is when all the politicos get together, and carve up the state budget like a Thanksgiving turkey.

Finalizing the New York State budget

Then ten minutes later, they all take Viagra and chase their interns around the hotel.

Senator Bellaco interviews your daughter

According to the author, everything in this novel is true.

It all happens constantly in Albany, and he has the evidence to prove it.

Let’s hope that killing three politicians, is all it takes.

If not, let’s strangle a few more…and demand free health insurance.

Puerto Rican Taxes

Last week David Paterson, the Governor of New York State, showed the solution to our financial crisis.

The solution is brilliant and simple: just put a tax on everything in sight.

The Governor added taxes to sugar, health care, cable TV, beer and wine, taking a cab, seeing a movie, listening to music, buying a shirt…

And when you pay your New York State income taxes, it will cost you ten dollars to do it.

Governor Paterson is a genius.

He is the first politician in American history, to place a tax on paying your taxes!

But the Governor missed a few things.

If he really wants to maximize state revenue, he should tax every racial and ethnic subdivision in New York.

That includes rich white people; old and embittered homosexuals; black welfare queens; and lying Congressmen with four rent-controlled apartments.

In that spirit, and in honor of Christmas 2008, I hereby submit the tax plan for Puerto Ricans:

  • § Coquito tax – $1 per glass
  • § Bolita tax – $10 per winning number
  • § Karaoke tax – 50 cents per song, $2 for any reggaetón
  • § Feel-up tax – $5 for everyone you fondle on the subway
  • § Subway tax – $1 if you ever want to get off a subway train
  • § Silbro tax – $5 for buying a high definition TV on layaway
  • § Cuchifrito tax – 10 cents for every alcapurria or blood sausage
  • § MiGente tax – $1 for every booty call on MiGente.com
  • § Wilfredo tax – $500 for every fraudulent welfare claim
  • § Willie tax – $10 for every crappy Willie Colon album
